I’m not sure I understand your question. If you’re referring to my sight loss and using the computer there are many ways to do this with magnification and or screen reader software. Also many people who have sight loss have some residual vision, and while it impacts day to day living in that there are many things we cannot see or see well, with adaptations we can do just about anything we set our minds to. If I didn’t understand your question and you can clarify I’d be happy to do so. 🙂

You hit the nail on the head.
I have a friend who lost her sight due to Meningitis and using her phone has been challenging, then if I am with her, I have to use the largest font size in the computer to communicate with her, and yes, she’s deaf too… Thanks for replying.

You’re very welcome. I have some friends who are totally blind and they use iPhones like “it’s no one’s business” I mean they are like techno wizards. Has your friend looked into using ZoomText or some other software that makes it easier for people with sight loss to use a computer? I don’t know if she’s heard of visionaware.org but they are a wonderful resource for anyone experiencing blindness/sight loss and they talk quite a bit about accessibility with regard to technology. I have several friends who also have Usher Syndrome (sight loss with hearing loss) I didn’t want to assume this is what your friend has however I can understand some of the challenges she might face having to live with sight and hearing loss. Since going through my experience at first I felt so alone because doctors didn’t provide any resources but once I got hooked into the appropriate groups everything began to change.
