Pahimakas
Pahimakas – Last farewell
It has never been easy. I knew this time would come. We would part and go our separate ways. Only if you were sojourning to somewhere I can reach you then I won’t feel this way.
I know, the chariots awaits to carry you home but I feel so selfish. I wish you would stay. However, it is better that you go, then your mortal body would rest, then you will have immortality thrust upon you in another world.
Here’s is to a farewell! Keep safe! Let me pretend I’ll see you again, so I can cope with life without you here.
*****
In response to the Word High July prompt for today. The most painful farewell is saying it to a dying friend or relative.
Until next time,
Blessings!
there is valor but more so there is pain. an emotive write, Deb!
