poetry, Writing

We never friends
I and him were archenemies
From before my birth
The prophecies foretold
This Child will destroy
The Devil’s work
Will bring light to the dark
Will show many the right path
At every turn his success
Will be your failure
His existence spells your doom.

With hatred he fights
So I fight back
I get bruises for every milestone of success
Nope! I can’t go to hell
The gates are shut against me
For I bring terror with me
The hosts of hell quake at the mention of my name.
On the walls is my name written in red
An order attached
“Don’t Touch, Don’t Harm.”
