Mischief and Secrets

             1
Too many skeletons
In the cupboard
Many demons to hide
The truth stares
Bluntly in the face
In moment unbidden
In the times unhidden
Truth and lies meet.

         2
All the time
Seeking cover
Defending each words
Without being asked
Ready to fight
On alert
To wade off blows
Fighting to keep the past.

           3
Those secrets
Mysterious to fathom
The wicked human mind
The plots against others
The mischiefs created
The very darkness
Takes away the peace
Carrying a chip on the shoulder.
